Splitting an order allows you to manage and ship items separately. Follow the steps below to split an order into multiple shipments.

Splitting an order allows you to manage and ship items separately. Follow the steps below to split an order into multiple shipments.

๐Ÿ”„ Steps to Split an Order

  1. Go to Orders -> Open Orders

  2. Find the order you wish to split and click Actions.

  3. Select Split Order from the dropdown.

  4. Enter the number of new orders you'd like to create from the original.

  5. Distribute the quantities of the items across the new split orders.

    • You can manually adjust how the items are divided.

    • Each split order will appear as a separate unshipped order.


๐Ÿ“ฆ Shipping Split Orders

Once split, the new orders will appear under your Unshipped Orders tab.

Important:
When you ship the first part of a split order:

  • The full order will be marked as shipped in your sales channel.

  • The tracking number from the first shipment will be sent to the marketplace.

  • When you ship the remaining part(s), those tracking details will also be sent.


๐Ÿ” How to Unsplit an Order

If you need to reverse the split:

  1. Locate the split order.

  2. Click Actions โ†’ select Unsplit Order.

  3. The individual orders will be merged back into the original order.


๐Ÿ” View the Original Order

To view the original full order at any time:

  • Click the โ€˜Split Orderโ€™ tag on any of the split orders.

  • This will take you to the original order summary.
