✅ New Account Setup & Inventory Management Checklist

This checklist is designed to help new users ensure their Selro account is fully set up for smooth inventory and product management.

1. Choose Your Master Catalogue

  • The first product catalogue you import into Selro will be considered your master product data.

    • This information (title, description, price, etc.) will appear on your main inventory page.

    • It will also be used when creating new listings for other marketplaces.

  • Tip: Make sure to import your most complete and accurate product catalogue first.

2. Set Up Listing Profiles

  • Once your marketplaces are connected, set up listing profiles for each channel.

  • Navigate to:
Top-right menu (Username) → Connections → Edit Channel → Listing Profile

  • You can create multiple listing profiles as needed to suit different marketplace requirements.

3. Make Product Changes in Selro

  • We recommend making all product updates directly in Selro, then pushing changes to your marketplaces.

  • Changes made directly in your marketplaces will not sync automatically with Selro.

    • If changes are made outside of Selro, you’ll need to redownload the products into Selro.

4. Ensure Consistent SKUs Across Channels

  • If your products are listed on multiple marketplaces, ensure they have the same SKU reference.

    • If SKUs differ, Selro won’t recognise them as the same product, and stock won’t sync.

  • If necessary, you can merge products with different SKUs.

5. Set Up Variations & Bundles (Optional)

  • Want to create variation or bundle products in Selro?

6. Enable Stock Synchronisation

  • Once you're confident in your inventory setup, enable stock sync via:
    Inventory → Inventory Synchronise

7. Importing New Products from Marketplaces

  • If you plan to create new products directly in your marketplaces, keep 'product download' enabled in Selro.

    • This ensures any newly created products will be imported into Selro automatically (usually every 24 hours).

8. eBay Users – Enable 'Out of Stock' Feature

  • To prevent your eBay listings from being closed when out of stock:

    • Go to:
Top-right menu → Connections → Edit eBay → Enable ‘Out of Stock’ Feature
