Learn how to merge products in Selro to streamline your inventory management. This guide will walk you through the steps to merge products with different SKU numbers, ensuring a unified and efficient inventory.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. π§ Identify Duplicate Products
Start by identifying products with identical descriptions but different SKU numbers.
βExample: Two identical green jumpers with different SKUs.
2. π Initiate Product Merge
3. π Select a Similar Item or Use the Search Filter
Selro will highlight a similar item that can be merged.
Alternatively, you can use the search filter to find the relevant SKU to merge with.
4. ποΈ View the Merged Product
Once merged, only the 'master' SKU will be visible in your inventory.
To view the original SKU, edit the product and navigate to the Listings tab.
5. π Information Update
Stock levels are automatically updated after the merge.
Other listing information (title, description, etc.) will remain unchanged.
6. π Unmerge Products
If you need to unmerge products:
Go to Inventory β Inventory & Listings.
Look up the 'master SKU' in the inventory.
Edit the product and go to the Listings tab.
Click on Actions and then select Un-merge.
Bulk Merging
To merge products in bulk:
π¦ Go to Inventory β Bulk Actions.
βοΈ Select File Type β 'Merge SKUs'.
Upload your CSV file.

To export all merged listings:

The export file will take approximately 20 minutes to process.
After processing, download the report from Inventory β Bulk Actions β Bulk Exports.
