Please follow the below article on eBay's out of stock feature and how to enable/disable feature. This is available on eBay.co.uk and eBay.ie Good ‘Til Cancelled listings. It’s free to use and when your qualifying listings become out-of-stock, this new option helps safeguard your hard-earned feedback and helps to protect you from associated defects.
Here’s how it works:
When your qualifying listing reaches a quantity of zero, eBay will automatically hide it from all buyer searches - this may help to prevent you from receiving a defect for selling an item that’s out-of-stock. Though hidden, these listings retain their purchase and search history, so that when you replenish your stock, they’ll become available to buyers once again.
Besides keeping your listings active and helping to protect your reputation against defects related to out-of-stock cancellations, selecting the new out-of-stock option offers other important benefits:
Any Good ‘Til Cancelled listing with a quantity of zero for an entire 30-day billing period may qualify for an insertion fee credit at the end of that period.
On any Good ‘Til Cancelled listing that has a quantity of zero for the entire 30-day billing period over 3 consecutive 30-day billing periods, eBay will end the listing on your behalf.
Here’s how to apply the out-of-stock option to your Good ‘Til Cancelled listings:
1. Go to My eBay > Account > Site Preferences
2. Under Selling Preferences, click Show next to Sell Your Item form and listings
3. Click Edit next to Use the out-of-stock option
4. Select the checkbox, then click Apply
Once available, you can apply the new out-of-stock option directly from Selling Preferences in My eBay and can opt-out at any time.
