🔄 Stock Synchronisation in Selro

Selro’s automated stock synchronisation keeps your inventory levels in sync across all connected marketplaces and e-commerce platforms.

Example:
If a product sells on Shopify, Selro automatically updates stock on eBay, Amazon, and other connected channels within 5-15 minutes— helping you avoid overselling.

🆔 How It Works: SKU Matching

Selro syncs inventory using the SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) across all listings.

  • 🧩 SKUs must be identical across channels for stock sync to work.

  • 🛑 If a listing lacks a SKU (e.g. eBay "Custom Label"), you must add one before enabling stock synchronisation.

How to Enable Stock Synchronisation

  1. Go to:
    Inventory → Inventory Synchronise

  2. Toggle on Stock Sync for your entire account or select individual channels.

🔁 Only channels with sync enabled will update stock. If a sale occurs on a non-synced channel, other platforms won’t reflect the stock change.

⚠️ Important Requirements for Sync

  • Enable Order Download for each channel — this is required for accurate sync.

  • 📌 SKUs must match across all platforms. If SKUs differ, use the product merge feature (see separate user guide).

🧭 Master Inventory Setting

By default, Selro is the Master Inventory Source, meaning:

  • All stock changes must be made in Selro.

  • Selro pushes updates to each connected marketplace.

If you prefer to manage inventory from a marketplace (e.g. Amazon), you can:

  • Go to Inventory Synchronise

  • Select “Change Master Inventory Settings”

🚫 Exclude SKUs from Stock Sync

You can prevent specific SKUs from being synchronised:

  1. Go to:
Inventory Synchronise → Products Excluded from Stock Sync

  2. Click “Please click here” to upload a CSV file with the SKUs you want to exclude.
