If you notice your stock levels in Selro aren't synching please follow the steps outlined below to identify and resolve this issue.

Check 1

SKU/ Custom Label references match

First please ensure that your products have the same SKU reference or custom label on each of your marketplaces. The stock synchronisation is based on this reference.

If your products have different SKU numbers or custom labels on each channel please ensure that you have merged these products together following the steps outlined in the user guide below.

Merging your products together will ensure they are linked for stock keeping purposes.

Check 2

Stock Synchronisation has been enabled

Next please make sure you have enabled your stock synchronisation.

To enable your stock sync please select Inventory-> Stock Synchronisation

Please ensure you have enabled the stock sync for each channel here. Order download also needs to be enabled for each of these channels for the stock synchronisation to work.

In Selro you can also change the Master Inventory settings to certain marketplaces. If you have changed your master inventory settings then any stock updates need to be completed on the selected marketplace.

From this section you can also disable certain SKU's from the stock sync. Please under the tab ' products excluded from stock synchronisation' to make sure that the SKU in question hasn't been disabled from the stock sync.

The below user guide takes you through the stock synchronisation process in more detail.

Check 3

Supplier Feed

If you have added suppliers into the system and enabled a supplier feed this can override the stock levels you have in Selro.

To check if supplier feed has updated your stock levels please go to inventory-> inventory & listings-> locate the relevant SKU -> select the suppliers tab-> copy the supplier SKU from here

Next click on suppliers-> manage suppliers-> edit your supplier-> check if the supplier feed has been enabled under the supplier feed tab -> if it has, select the supplier products tab and look up the supplier SKU you copied, and cross check the quantity here with the quantity that is showing against this product in your inventory.

If you want to stop your supplier feed updating your quantities in Selro you can turn off the supplier feed under the feeds tab.

Check 4

FBA Stock Sync

If you have enabled stock sync between your FBA and merchant fulfilled products your FBA stock levels can override your Inventory quantities.

To check if your FBA stock sync has been enabled please click on your username-> select fulfilment centre-> edit your FBA account-> check here to see if the box 'stock synchronise' has been enabled.

If it has been enabled please go to inventory-> inventory & listings-> fulfilment centre inventory-> you will see all of your FBA products here and the stock levels.

If you look up your SKU here you can cross check the FBA quantity with your merchant fulfilled quantity. (You can also check under the tab merchant SKU mapping)

To stop your FBA stock levels overriding your merchant fulfilled levels please disable the stock sync here

click on your username-> select fulfilment centre-> edit your FBA account-> un-check the box 'stock synchronise'

Check 5

Linked to a bundle/ kit SKU

If your SKU is a bundle component or part of a bundle/kit listing, whenever a product linked to the bundle/kit listing sells or has a stock update this will update all of the connected SKU's

Please check if you SKU is connected to a bundle or kit listing and make sure when updating the stock levels you update the bundle component SKU itself not the quantity on the bundle listing.

Check 6

Audit Logs- see a breakdown of all stock updates per SKU

If you go to inventory-> inventory & listings-> edit your product -> you will see an 'audit logs tab'

From here you will see all of the stock updates that have been applied to this product.

This includes:

Reduction in stock when an order has been placed/cancelled in Selro

Manual updates from specific users

Updates via CSV

API updates from supplier feeds

etc.

If you believe your stock levels are incorrect checking your audit logs tab can help you trace why and when a stock update was made.
