📩 Setting Up Package Types in Selro

Selro now allows you to assign a package type to your orders. When generating shipments, the weight of the packaging will automatically be added to the total shipment weight—saving you time and ensuring accurate postage calculations.

🔧 How to Set Up Package Types

  1. Click on your username in the top right-hand corner of your Selro account.

  2. Go to Settings → click the Shipping tab.

  3. Select Packaging.

  4. Click New Packaging Group, then New Packaging Type.

📝 Entering Packaging Details

A new window will appear where you can define your packaging criteria.

  • Set the From Weight and To Weight to specify which order weights the package type applies to.

  • Enter the Packaging Weight, which will be automatically added to the total order weight when this package type is used.

💡 Optional: If you prefer to manually assign package types (not using these rules), you can leave the From/To Weight fields blank.

🚚 Using Package Types When Shipping

When generating shipping labels, you’ll now see a field to assign a package type.

  • If you have entered the From weight and the To Weight, the package type will be automatically pre-selected.

  • If not, you can choose it manually during label generation.
