🛠️ Manage Product Attributes in Selro
Effortlessly manage your product attributes in Selro using the Attribute Management Centre. Whether you’re creating individual attributes or importing them in bulk, this guide walks you through each step to ensure smooth management.

1. 📂 Accessing the Attribute Management Centre
To start managing your product attributes, follow these steps:
Navigate to Inventory and select Product Attributes.
2. ✏️ Creating Single Attributes
To create an individual attribute:
Click on New Attribute.
Enter the following details:
Attribute Channel Display Name: The attribute name/ item specific as displayed on your marketplace.
Attribute Selro Name: The internal reference name used in Selro.
Default Value: The value automatically applied when the attribute is added to a product.
Values: Available options in a dropdown when assigning the attribute to a product.
3. 📤 Bulk Creating Attributes
To create multiple attributes at once:
Go to Inventory → Bulk Actions.
Use the import type. "Import Attributes".
Upload your attribute file using the headers ‘name’ and ‘value’.
Use the sample file provided to ensure the correct upload format.
4. 🏷️ Assigning Attributes to Products
Once your attributes are created, assign them to products either individually or in bulk.
➡️ Individual Assignment
To assign attributes individually, go to "Inventory" and then "Inventory & Listings".
Search and edit the product you want to update.
Navigate to the "Attributes" tab.
Select the attributes you want to add, and enter a value. (Either manually or from the drop down menu)
Click Save.
📥 Bulk Assignment
To assign attributes in bulk, navigate to inventory and then bulk actions.
Upload your CSV file using the file type “Import Product Attributes”. (You can download a sample file to populate from this page.
Important Note: CSV imports take 20-30 minutes and can handle up to 10,000 lines per upload.
5. 🏗️ Creating Attribute Sets (For use with eBay listings)
Create groups of attributes for easy assignment to products:
Go to Attribute Sets under the Attribute Management Centre.
Click on New Attribute Set.
Enter a set name and choose the desired attributes to include.
To access available values for the selected attributes, click on the ‘Values’ link.
Exclude any unwanted values when creating variation values for your channels.
6. 🛒 Linking Attribute Sets to eBay Listing Profiles
If you’re selling on eBay, you can link attribute sets directly to your eBay listing profile:
Go to your Username → Connections → Edit eBay → Listing Profiles.
Select the Attribute Sets tab and choose the set you created.
Enter default values for automatic assignment when new listings are created.
