Effectively organize your products in Selro by establishing multiple categories and subcategories. Follow these straightforward steps to create, rename, and manage your product categories seamlessly.
1. Setting Up Categories:
1.1. Navigate to "Inventory" and select "Product Categories."
1.2. To create a new category or subcategory, choose "Create Category" and enter the category name.
1.3. To rename a category, select the category and then choose "Rename Selected Category."
2. Bulk Assigning Products to Categories:
2.1. For individual assignment, select "Assign Products" and choose the products.
2.2. Alternatively, for bulk assignment via CSV file, select "Bulk Assign Products to Categories."

3. Important Note:
These categories in Selro are distinct from the categories set in your marketplaces.
4. Managing and Filtering Products:
4.1. Once your categories are established, filter your Selro products by category under "Inventory -> Inventory & Listings -> select the 'categories' filter.
5. Mapping Selro Categories to Marketplace Categories:
5.1. You can also map Selro categories to your marketplace categories.
5.2. Whenever you create a new listing, the marketplace category will be automatically applied based on your mapped categories.
