🛒 Barcode Management in Selro

Easily manage barcodes across your inventory and marketplace listings with Selro’s multi-channel inventory system.
Using barcodes such as EAN, UPC, and ISBN helps you quickly access and manage products through barcode scanning.

📦 Supported Barcode Types

Selro supports the following barcode formats when creating inventory items:

  • EAN (European Article Number)

  • UPC (Universal Product Code)

  • ISBN (International Standard Book Number)

Important:
Each inventory item in Selro can have only one EAN, UPC, or ISBN assigned.

🔄 Different Barcodes for Inventory and Marketplaces

Selro allows you to manage separate barcodes for your inventory items and your marketplace listings:

  • Inventory Barcode: Typically the manufacturer's/ your barcode stored in Selro.

  • Marketplace Barcode: For some marketplaces you can enter a different EAN/OPC to the barcode you have stored in Selro, which will be used on that marketplace only.

This flexibility enables you to maintain internal stock accuracy while meeting marketplace-specific listing requirements.

📋 Barcodes in Order Management and Fulfilment

When processing orders and fulfilling shipments:

  • Selro will display the inventory barcode (not the marketplace barcode) on your Pick/Pack Lists and Shipping Labels.

  • This ensures warehouse teams always scan and pack using your core inventory data.

🛠️ How to Manage Barcodes in Selro

  1. Navigate to Inventory.

  2. Edit the inventory item you want to update.

  3. Go to the General tab.

🖋️ Tip: If needed, you can upload and update barcodes in bulk using the Inventory Bulk Upload option.

📚 Additional Notes
