โ๏ธ Configuring Pricing Rules for Sales Channels in Selro
You can create complex pricing rules for each sales channel, based on either cost price or selling price.
These rules are configured within listing templates, so that any item listed using that template will have its price automatically calculated and updated based on your rules.
Although the example below shows a price rule for eBay, the same steps apply to other channels (e.g., Amazon, Etsy, Shopify).
๐ ๏ธ Steps to Configure Pricing Rules
๐ Go to your account settings
Navigate to:Username โ Connections โ Edit
the relevant sales channel.๐ Access Listing Templates
Click on the 'Listing Templates' tab to view existing templates.โ๏ธ Choose or Create a Template
๐งฎ Set Pricing Rules
๐ก Note: The ${selling_price}
and ${cost_price}
values refer to the values entered in the Selro product details (under the pricing tab).
๐ Automatic Price Updates
Whenever a base selling price or cost price is updated in Selro, the listing price will be recalculated automatically.
These updated prices will be synced to the relevant sales channels based on your configured pricing rules.
๐ Example Pricing Rules and How They Work
Here are some common pricing rule examples you can use in Selro listing templates:
Pricing Rule | Description |
Use the base selling price as-is for the listing price.
Increase the base selling price by 25%.
Set the listing price to cost price plus a fixed amount.
Set the listing price to 50% above the cost price.
๐ก Tips
Pricing rules are applied automatically whenever you update the base selling price or cost price in Selro.
Make sure to download your product catalogues from sales channels into Selro so that the base prices are aligned.
You can customize pricing rules for each sales channelโs listing template to meet your business strategy.
