Following are the main identifiers that Selro uses to uniquely identified your items with Selro.

SKU

SKU stands for Stock Keeping unit. This is the unique number that you will use to identify your items. Variation items such as size and colour must have its own unique SKU. SKU is unique within your Selro inventory. i.e you can not create another product with an already existing SKU.

In eBay SKU is called custom label and it is an optional field. If you have created items directly in eBay without joining Selro, our recommendation is for you to update the custom label directly in eBay before downloading the eBay catalogue into Selro.

EAN

EAN stands for European Article Number. You need valid EAN to create your own product in Amazon catalogue. EAN is required for Amazon European marketplace. You can create new products (including variatons) into Amazon from Selro with valid EANs.

UPC

UPC stands for Universal Product Code. You need valid UPC to create your own product in Amazon catalogue. EAN is required for Amazon US, Canada and Mexico. You can create new products (including variatons) into Amazon from Selro with valid UPCs.

ASIN

ASIN stands for Amazon Standard Identification Number. Every product of Amazon site has its own ASIN, a unique code we use to identify the Amazon listings. In Selro inventory, you can have many ASIN per one SKU.
