Selro supports integration with OpenAI (ChatGPT), enabling you to generate product titles and descriptions when creating inventory items and listings.
You can use AI (ChatGPT) to generate product content in the following ways:
Generate product title and description from an image
Generate a product title from an existing title
Generate a product description from an existing title or description
Generate Product Title & Description from an Image
Go to the Photos & Video tab and click Generate Description from Image next to the image. This will generate a product title and description based on the image.
Generate a product title from an existing title
Edit the item and click 'Rewrite with AI' next to the title. This will generate a high-performing product title optimised for e-commerce sites and marketplaces.
Generate a product description from an existing title or description
Edit the item and click 'Rewrite with AI' next to the description. This will generate a high-performing product description optimised for e-commerce sites and marketplaces.
Generate Product Summary (Bullet points ) from a title or description
Please click 'Generate Summary with AI' to automatically generate 5 product summary list /bullet points from the product title or description.
How to Connect OpenAI (ChatGPT) to Your Selro Account
Please follow below steps to connect the OpenAI ChatGPT API key with your Selro account before starting this functionality.
Go to the OpenAI Platform and sign in with your OpenAI account. The API is managed from the developer platform, not from the regular ChatGPT interface.
Open the API keys page in the Platform settings.
Please click 'API Keys' link and clicl 'Create new secret Key'
Choose permissions for the key. OpenAI supports All, Restricted, and Read Only permissions, and you can edit permissions later. Please select all permissions.
To Enter the API Key into Selro please follow the below steps.
Click on your username in the top right hand corner
Select connections
Select 'App Store'
Click Add Chat GPT
Copy the API key into API key field.
Please go to ChatGPT Billing section and top it up. We recommend top-up by $10 which would give 4 million tokens (api requests) . ChatGPT pay as you go pricing is shown in https://openai.com/api/pricing/
