How to Create a Warehouse in Selro
Go to Warehouse Management
Open the Warehouse Management page in Selro. This page shows your existing warehouses and item locations.Click New Warehouse
In the top-right corner, click the New Warehouse button.
Enter the warehouse name
In the Warehouse Name field, type the name of the warehouse.Add an internal code
In the Internal Code field, enter a warehouse code if needed. This can help identify the warehouse internally.Enter the contact name
In the Contact Name field, add the name of the main contact for this warehouse.Enter the phone number
In the Phone field, add the warehouse contact phone number.Enter the email address
In the Email Address field, add the warehouse email address.Set as the default warehouse if needed
Tick the Default Warehouse checkbox if you want this warehouse to be your default warehouse in Selro.Review default settings
Click Edit Default Settings if you want to configure default warehouse settings before saving.Add BIN locations if required
Select the BIN Locations tab if you want to create or manage BIN locations for this warehouse.Save the warehouse
Click Save in the top-right corner to create the warehouse.Confirm the warehouse was created
After saving, return to the Warehouse Management page and check that the new warehouse appears in the warehouse list.
Optional actions after creating a warehouse
Click Edit to update warehouse details later.
Use Actions for additional warehouse options.
Click Remove if you need to delete a warehouse.
How to Restrict a User’s Access to Specific Warehouses in Selro
You can restrict staff account to certain warehouses for order management. Please follow the below steps.
Open the Settings menu
From the top navigation bar, click the Settings icon/menu.
Go to Access Management
In the dropdown menu, select Access Management.Find the user you want to update
In the user list, locate the relevant user account.Click Edit
Select Edit next to the user whose warehouse access you want to manage.Open the Permissions tab
In User Management, click the Permissions tab.Go to Manage Warehouse Access
Scroll to the Manage Warehouse Access section.Select the warehouses the user can access
Tick the checkbox next to each warehouse you want the user to access for order management.Leave warehouses unticked to restrict access
Any warehouse that is not selected will not be accessible to that user for order management.Save your changes
Click Save to apply the updated warehouse permissions.
Important note
If no warehouses are selected, the user will have access to all warehouses.
To restrict access, make sure you select only the warehouses the user should be able to use.
Example
If you want a user to access only Warehouse ABC:
Tick Warehouse ABC
Leave Warehouse Reading unchecked
Click Save
The user will then only be able to access Warehouse ABC for order management.
